This is the new Open Air Summer Cinema, just along from the Oceanographic Museum. It advertises as starting at 9.45 at night but normally it’s 10 p.m. or later. You can buy a glass of wine, you can sit in lounges or chairs. The films are in English with French subtitles – and it’s a great place to meet up with friends. Why not come tomorrow – they are showing Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix? It’s rather magical setting I think you’ll agree. Click on the website of the Summer Cinema, scroll down, and you’ll see a map of exactly where this is on the Rock.

Dera Sirs,
a couple of weeks ago we have been to the Open Ait Cinema to watch Toy Story 3, with our 7 and 9 years old children. The setting is fantastic and we had a lovely time. We have been a bit surprised by the fact that trailers for films absolutely not suitable for children, have been shown before Toy Story, which resulted in most mothers covering their children eyes. Hopefully this can be changed for the future.
Thank you very much for your attention.
Kind regards

Hi Sofia. We are not affiliated with the company hosting the event you attended, but I am sure that if you did contact the operators of that particular event they should be able to address your concern. No doubt they would want to keep the event family-friendly and appropriate for all ages.
